VANDERBILT'S NOBEL LAUREATES: A VISUAL TRIBUTE TO DISCOVERY AND INNOVATION, 2017, THE WOND'RY AT VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY, NASHVILLE, TN

Six Nobel Laureates are affiliated with Vanderbilt.  My goal in VANDERBILT'S NOBEL LAUREATES: A VISUAL TRIBUTE TO DISCOVERY AND INNOVATION is to honor each of them with a single piece that represents the theme of an entire lifetime of work.  Despite working in different fields, the common thread these people all share is innovation!  None of them were afraid to fail, and they ultimately made discoveries or took actions that went far beyond an incremental advancement in a given field.  Many of them also bridged the perceived gaps between different fields as part of their work.

For more information stop by the second floor of The Wond'ry at Vanderbilt University. The pieces honor Max Delbrück, Earl W. Sutherland Jr., Stanford Moore, Stanley Cohen, Muhammad Yunus, and Al Gore

Huge thank you to The Wond'ry leadership and staff for their support for this project!

UPDATE! Original artwork to honor the 2017 Cures Within Reach Global Health Repurposing Awardees

1507504456004.jpeg

I had an absolutely incredible time in Chicago a few weeks ago at the 2017 Global Health Repurposing Awards hosted by Cures Within Reach.

I want to thank Bruce Bloom and Clare Thibodeaux again for allowing me to contribute some artwork to the event and awardees.

The Radisson Blu Aqua was an awesome hotel and venue for the event!

For photo albums from the event see:

Album 1 and Album 2

Full details about Cures Within Reach and the awardees can be found in this press release and on the event website.

Congratulations to all of the awardees! I had the privilege of meeting most of them in person, and they are all incredible people who are making the world a better place!

The entire Cures Within Reach staff has been wonderful to work with and I am looking forward to an incredible evening that helps to support a truly great cause.

I will be posting images of my work after the event.
