My work is influenced by modernist architecture, jazz music, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, physics, computer science, photography and more.  I have undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and philosophy, and a Ph.D. in pharmacology. One of the activities I truly love is finding common patterns in things that seem to be very different (thematic interconnectedness).

I am enormously thankful for the work of so many people spread across an incredibly wide range of fields as it would not have even been possible for me (or anyone else) to combine all of the ideas, tools, techniques and resources I work with until relatively recently. I have been working on bringing my vision to life for more than 15 years and I could not be more thankful for the opportunity to do this work.

One of my main goals is to create art that gives everyone a window into a world that no one can see with the naked eye. I hope this is science like you have never seen it before.

Doing what I can to make the world a better place is very important to me.

I donate 30% (yes 30%) of the sale price of every piece to an organization related to the subject of the piece (i.e. American Cancer Society) that helps patients directly, supports medical research, or engages in patient advocacy etc.

Thanks for taking a look,
